Welcome to Joheen Estate. By booking or making an enquiry with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.

1. Bookings & Payments

• Venue hire is priced at $4,000 NZD, which includes 5-day access: 3 days prior, the event day, and 1 day after.
  
  
• A non-refundable deposit (amount to be confirmed at time of booking) is required to secure your date.
  
  
• Full payment is due no later than 30 days prior to the event date.
  
  
• Failure to pay by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking.
  
  

2. Use of the Venue

• You will have access to:
  
  
  • The barn with built-in lighting and fairy lights
    
    
  • Gardens, lawns, the Dell
    
    
  • Paddocks for parking, camping, or caravan access
    
    
• You are welcome to bring your own vendors or use our recommended suppliers.
  
  
• A curfew of 12am (midnight) applies to all events.
  
  

3. Cancellations & Postponements

• Cancellations must be made in writing.
  
  
• The initial deposit is non-refundable.
  
  
• If cancellation occurs within 30 days of the event, no refunds will be issued.
  
  
• Postponements are considered on a case-by-case basis and may incur additional fees.
  
  

4. Liability & Responsibility

• Joheen Estate is a working farm. Children must be supervised at all times, and guests should remain within designated event areas.
  
  
• You are responsible for the conduct and safety of your guests, vendors, and any damage to the property or grounds.
  
  
• Joheen Estate is not liable for:
  
  
  • Personal injury, loss, or damage during your event
    
    
  • Weather-related disruptions or acts of nature
    
    

5. Camping & Overnight Stay

• Basic paddock access is available for campervans, caravans, or BYO tents.
  
  
• No access to powered sites or formal amenities is provided unless arranged in advance.
  
  
• Noise must be kept to a minimum after midnight.
  
  

6. Event Setup & Pack Down

• You may access the property for setup 3 days before the event and must remove all items within 1 day after.
  
  
• All rubbish and decor must be removed unless other arrangements are made.
  
  

7. Premium Event Services

• Joheen Estate works in collaboration with Premium Events for clients seeking full event planning services.
  
  
• These services are managed separately and subject to their own terms.
  
  

8. General

• All bookings are subject to availability and management approval.
  
  
• Joheen Estate reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
